Faux Pho Recipe

a squeeze of lime juice adds zest and tang

About a year ago, I had my first taste of the Vietnamese dish called Pho. Unfortunately, its an understatement to say that I was disappointed in what my $20 was spent on; there was literally no flavor whatsoever! The second opportunity, however redeemed my taste for the dish so much that I craved it enough to attempt learning to make it.

Obviously I’m not as cultured as the next Internet, food blogging and vlogging person; but I do know that many Asian dishes are made to satisfy with economic efficiency in mind—little to no waste. So picking ingredients that can be eaten whole, whether they're cooked or used as garnish, is essential. If you try out this recipe feel free to tag me on Instagram or Twitter ! I would love to see your Faux Pho too!
