Why Grown Women Love Press-On Nails
Many of us have spent countless hours doing maintenance on our nails. Whether it is a natural manicure, pedicure or getting some really awesome faux nail styles, having our nails done has always been a ritualistic beauty routine for women around the world. What, though, can be done whenever we don't have the time to sit in front of our favorite nail technician and receive the usual lux treatment? I mean its not like we could possibly skip getting our nails done!
It is a real bummer whenever I want my nails to look glamorous and they can't be brought back to life.
When your nail technician is actually good at what they're doing, booking an appointment can literally take months and walking in without an appointment is a No, No! My solution to that problem has been taking the DIY route. That's right ladies, press-on nails are in!
The last time I wore press-on nails I was in elementary school; and all that comes to mind was how easily they popped off. Prior to making my Amazon purchase of clear press-on nails and nail glue, I was totally against the entire idea. The difference between now and a couple of decades ago is progress in the formulation nail adhesives and the quality of actual faux nails. Besides being able to do this at my own convenience, what I love about press-on nails now is that they're super cheap! Where a regular set of nails can cost up to $100 (for me anyway), doing it myself cost me one grand fee of $20 for 50 sets. That includes the adhesive, the full cover press on nails and a totally unnecessary primer that I bought just in case it actually does something.
I'm sure by now you get the point, so instead of writing out how it's done I created this nice little video tutorial! For direct links to the products I purchase for my nail DIY, click the title of my video and see the description. Enjoy!
